  • Reiwa Tessen (Japanese Folding fan)

    Reiwa Tessen (Japanese Folding fan)

The traditional iron fan, handed down since ancient times and once used for self defence, has been reborn as a practical fan by us.

We applied a high-function antibacterial coating to the iron at both ends of the fan and persimmon tannin to its surface (an ancient technique) to create a strong fan with antibacterial properties.

This "Kyo Sensu" was created by Tsuyoshi Omura, a traditional craftsman.

It fuses proud traditional Japanese crafts with modern cutting-edge technology.
